There are several prerequisites for installing a garbage disposal

1.Bottom space

Sufficient space is required directly below the sink drain. Usually the height should be greater than 40cm, as the height of the garbage disposal unit is generally within 40cm. The width should be greater than 30cm.

2.Sink drain

The standard inner diameter of the sink drain is 80-90mm, and the outer diameter is 112-114mm. If the drain diameter is larger than the standard size, such as 140mm, 160mm, 180mm, etc., a corresponding reducer needs to be purchased for installation.

3.Power socket

A usable power socket is required below the sink to provide power supply for the garbage disposal unit.

4.Sewer drain

Because the kitchen waste crushed by the garbage disposal unit needs to be directly discharged into the sewer pipe, it is required that the drain outlet be lower than the outlet of the garbage disposal unit
